My name is Evan Alexander Richmond. I was raised in the Colorado metro area with a direct line of sight to the beautiful snow-capped peaks of the glorious Rocky Mountains.
Growing up my main reprieve was staying active and playing copious amounts of baseball. My teams were always leading the leagues and attending the tournaments. I tend to drift towards anything competitive. I have an uncanny ability to get extremely proficient at things quickly.
Living in Colorado for 18 years truly gave me a ton of insight into different cultures and how to connect with people from all different backgrounds.
I was raised to respect others, and I learned to appreciate the little things. In school, I was typically the kid who was looking out the window; admiring the sway of the trees in the wind, or the birds of flock perched upon the branches; usually engaging with the class when I was called upon because nobody knew the answer. I find interest and amazement in the things most people wouldn’t pay much mind to, like a pair of shoes hanging from the laces around a telephone wire. I like art and getting to know how people think.
I came to South Carolina for a change of scenery and lower property taxes. South Carolina feels like a comfortable middle ground between the hustle and bustle of big city nightlife and two chairs on the front porch in a small town on a Sunday afternoon. Honestly, if you’ve read all of this so far, we’ll probably get along swimmingly.
