My name is James Keefner, and I am originally from Massachusetts. At the age of 18, I packed a bag, grabbed my guitar, and headed out west to sunny Phoenix, Arizona. After 25 years, I returned to Massachusetts in 2013 to help my mother and father, who were ill. Several years after their passing, my wife and I decided to relocate to the Myrtle Beach area because we always wanted to live near the ocean and be able ride our motorcycles year-round. In 2025, my wife and I purchased a second home in Conway. We decided after a few months of dealing with the cold and snowy weather in Massachusetts to finally make South Carolina our permanent home as of January 2026.

 I spent 30 years in the restaurant world. I've held every position from certified corporate trainer (traveled around the country opening restaurants and training new employees), Manager, Bar Manager, General Manager, Food and Beverage Service Director, and Director of Operations, overseeing several corporate restaurants. My background, attention to detail, strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, negotiation skills, great communication skills, the ability to think outside the box, and my passion to ensure all of my clients get exactly what they need make me the perfect choice to be your Realtor.

When I am not working, I am a father of 6. I have 2 biological boys and have 4 bonus children through the marriage to my beautiful wife, Jennie. We are expecting our first granddaughter in July 2026. In my free time, I love going out to see live music, exploring and trying new restaurants, golfing, and watching our son play Div 1 college football. My wife and I both own Harleys, so we try to get out and explore as much as we can. I also love to spend time with our 2 Rottweilers, Slayer & Lucifer.

- I feel as though I am a great fit for real estate because of my strong customer service background. I have great communication skills, and the ability make sure my clients get the best deal for what they are looking for.

- I am originally from Pittsfield, Massachusetts

3.  What brought you to the area?

- It was on my bucket list for a long time to live near the ocean and be able to ride my motorcycle year-round

4.  What are your favorite local restaurants?

- Some of my favorite restaurants include The Crafty Rooster, Hop n' Wich, and The Crooked Oak Tavern.

5.  What are your favorite activities in your downtime?

- Some of my favorite activities in my downtime include golfing, riding my Harley with my wife, traveling to watch our son play football, being around our family, and walking with our 2 dogs. 

6.  What are your favorite Sports Teams?

- I really don't have a favorite sports team. I just enjoy a good competitive game.

7.  Do you play any sports? If so, what sport(s) do you play?

- I grew up playing football, baseball, basketball, and golf. I still enjoy playing golf.

8.  Do you have any pets?

- We have two male Rottweilers, Slayer, who is 2 1/2 and weighs 1571bs; and Lucifer, who is 1 and weighs 1201bs.

- I am passionate about being the best father, husband, and friend I can be
